Meet Dr. Backstrom

Dr. Donald B. Backstrom, M.S., D.C.

Dr. Donald Backstrom graduated from National Chiropractic College in Lombard, IL in 1986 and began practicing chiropractic in Glen Ellyn, IL that same year. Along with his doctorate in chiropractic, Dr. Backstrom also has a Master of Science degree in clinical psychology, Bachelor of Science degrees in both psychology and human biology, and post doctorate training in both rehabilitation and neurology. He is c­e­rtified in meridian therapy (acupuncture) and clinical nutrition.

Through individual assessment, coaching, and support, Dr. Backstrom is able to help his patients achieve their desired level of health. He works with patients who are looking to improve their current health, and continued wellness care, in addition to auto accident and injury patients.

Dr. Backstrom is a Brimhall Certified Chiropractor  as of April 2009. He has been practicing the Brimhall 6 Steps to Wellness protocol since 2002, utilizing the cold laser, percussor, nutritional supplementation and other modalities to obtain optimal results with his patients. Dr. Backstrom 's desire is for everyone is to have optimal health and well-being.
