Insurance Billing

We are able to submit insurance billing for most PPO insurance companies that are in the following networks:

Medicare Part B, PHCS, MultiPlan, Beech Street, First Health/Coventry First Health, Three Rivers (TRPN)

We accept Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO, with the exception of Blue Choice Select

We are out-of-network with the following insurance companies and, in most cases we are able to submit insurance billing:

Aetna, Cigna, UnitedHealthCare

We do not accept or submit insurance billing for the following:

HMO’s, Humana, Medicaid, Blue Choice Select

Discount payment option for cash paying patients and/or non-covered insurance charges

ChiroHealthUSA

·        Dr. Backstrom is a provider for ChiroHealthUSA, a Discount Medical Plan Organization

·        Discount Medical Plans, such as ChiroHealthUSA , are the only way we can legally extend a discount for cash patients, patients with high insurance deductibles, or patients who have Medicare or are partially insured

·        ChiroHealthUSA is a discount medical plan, not an insurance plan

·        Membership is only $39 per year.

·        The membership covers you and your immediate family members for the entire year

·        In order to join you just complete an application and pay the $39 membership fee

·        The membership fee is charged in our office and we pay ChiroHealthUSA

·        Membership is effective immediately

·        Your membership card will be sent directly to you in the mail

·        Payment for treatment is due when services are rendered
