Barbara Brown, Office Manager, Chiropractic Assistant

Barbara has been working at Backstrom Chiropractic Clinic since 1998. Her job includes office management, insurance billing, patient accounts, and the back-up of all other departments when needed. Hobbies include horseback riding and photography.

Justin Backstrom BS, Chiropractic Assistant

Justin Backstrom has an Associate of Arts degree from Colorado Mountain College and a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology from Logan College of Health Sciences.  Justin has grown up surrounded by alternative health and believes prevention is the best policy when it comes to healthcare.  His education in human anatomy and physiology allows him to effectively understand patient's conditions and assist the doctor with therapies and treatment.  Hobbies include running, skiing, cooking, and playing guitar.

Cathleen Carlson, LMT, CPT

Cathleen Carlson became an Illinois Licensed Massage Therapist in May of 2007.  She specializes in therapeutic massage, including active-isolated stretching techniques and corrective exercise.  Her myofascial work enhances the patient's current wellness program under Dr. Backstrom's chiropractic care.  Cathleen is also a Certified Sports Trainer and received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration/Finance Marquette University in 1989.
